'Dominick The Donkey' Rescued On Christmas Eve In Philly Suburbs

Westtown-East Goshen police pulled off a Christmas Eve search-and-rescue that called to mind a familiar tune.

"Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey" was spotted wandering alone near Greentree Drive in Thornbury Township on Dec. 24, the department said in a release.

Officers said they made contact with the donkey's owners and together tracked him down a short time later. "Dominick" was home safe by Christmas morning, authorities added.
